Hidden Track reports that Jon Fishman’s Pork Tornado, the comedic-funk side project of Phish’s drummer, will make its first appearance in over a decade on February 6th at South Burlington, VT’s Higher Ground Showcase.  The band, which was formed by Fishman and guitarist Dan Archer in 1997, will also feature original members Joe Moore on sax and vocals, Phil Abair on keys and vocals and Aaron Hersey on bass and vocals.

The band, known for their humorous brand of  funk, with originals like  “Kiss My Black Ass” and various cover songs, have not announced any other shows at this time.  There is always hope though; we will just keep our fingers crossed for now.  Tickets for the show are $15, and can be purchased here.
