A judge has ruled that 36-year-old Harlem rapper Juelz Santana—who famously bragged “I’m 18 and live a crazy life” on 2002 smash hit “Hey Ma”—may tour while he is currently out on bail awaiting trial for weapon and drug charges, but only if his mother goes with him.

The 36-year-old Diplomats member, whose legal name is LaRon James, was charged in March of this year after an incident at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ. Santana fled from authorities at the airport after TSA agents discovered a loaded handgun and eight oxycodone pills in his bag. He went on the run for several days before eventually turning himself into the Port Authority Police Department.

Juelz Santana was initially denied bail, but was eventually freed after his mother, Deborah James, put up her house to post the $500,000 sum—under the condition that he remain under Deborah’s supervision at her New Jersey residence while he awaits trial.

According to XXL, on Friday, a federal judge in New Jersey altered Santana’s bail conditions, allowing him to travel to the first five shows of the upcoming Dipset Forever Tour as long as he wears an ankle monitor and remains under his mother’s supervision at all times.

Prosecutors reportedly fought against the change in bail terms, but, District Judge Michael Hammer sided with Santana saying, “I view it as a reasonable and productive exercise of his time to work and provide for his family.”

The adjustment of Juelz Santana’s bail terms only extends through the first third of the 15-date tour, after which he is due back in court to assess the new conditions and discuss the possibility of him being allowed to complete run. Hopefully, Deborah’s watchful eye will ensure that he carries himself like a “man that’s polite, listens, and takes advice.”

PSA to anyone hitting the first leg of the Dipset Forever Tour: If you see Juelz, make sure Moms is with him—and don’t forget to say “hey” to her for us…
