[12/31/20]: On Saturday, December 26th, 50+ artists and hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world came together for Georgia Comes Alive, a virtual music festival aimed at promoting voter participation in Georgia’s critical Senate runoff elections on January 5th, 2021.

One of the many fantastic acts to take part in the nine-hour livestream was powerhouse singer/songwriter/guitarist Judith Hill, who appeared from her living room to belt out a rendition of “Irreplaceable Love”, a track off of her 2018 album, Golden Child. With simple accompaniment from her mother, Michiko Hill, on organ (both Hill’s mother and father play in her touring band), Judith kicked off the performance with a Prince-like guitar riff—unsurprisingly, as the late Purple One famously co-produced her 2015 debut album, Back In Time, which was recorded at his Paisley Park Studios in Minnesota. From her passionate vocal delivery to her emotive playing on her cherry red Strat, this brief yet powerful performance introduced countless viewers tuning in to the undeniable musical talent that is Judith Hill.

Judith Hill will release her new album, Baby, I’m Hollywood, on March 5th on Regime Music. We have a feeling that after this incredible performance at Georgia Comes Alive, she’ll have plenty of newfound fans copping the record this winter.

Watch Judith Hill perform a captivating rendition of “Irreplaceable Love” for Georgia Comes Alive below. If you enjoyed the show and have the means, consider donating to Georgia grassroots voter organizations via GeorgiaComesAlive.com.
