Just Like Heaven, the Goldenvoice-produced festival focused on the indie-rock and alternative music of the 2000s and 2010s, has announced the artist lineup for its 2025 edition, due to take place once again at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on Saturday, May 10th.

The single-day festival will feature headlining performances from indie mainstay Vampire Weekend and newly reunited Los Angeles outfit Rilo Kiley alongside sets from Empire of the Sun, Bloc Party, TV On The Radio, The Drums, Courtney Barnett, Toro y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, GROUPLOVE, Perfume Genius, The Sounds, Panda Bear, Beach Fossils, Peter Bjorn and John, and “very special guests” slowdive and L.A.’s A Club Called Rhonda, which will return to curate its own DJ tent.

After performing at last year’s Just Like Heaven with The Postal Service, Jenny Lewis will be reuniting with her first band, Rilo Kiley, at the 2025 event for their first performance in over 15 years. “We are so very excited to come back together for Just Like Heaven in Pasadena, California — Los Angeles,” Rilo Kiley said in a statement. “As a band, we began here, and we feel so fortunate to return among so many artists and friends, to this community we hold so dear, in such a beautiful and meaningful place.”

Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend also made an appearance at last year’s festival, joining Phoenix onstage for a surprise performance of their hit single “Tonight”. Reflecting on the experience, he said, “I went to Just Like Heaven for the first time last year and loved it. Great vibe, great line-up. Honored to be a part of it.”

Several Just Like Heaven artists will be celebrating landmark anniversaries of iconic albums: It’s been 20 years since the release of Bloc Party’s platinum-selling Silent Alarm and Peter Bjorn and John’s critically acclaimed album Writer’s Block, while 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Courtney Barnett’s chart-topping, award-winning debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.

In partnership with the Rose Bowl Operating Company, Goldenvoice Pasadena festivals including Just Like Heaven have donated $250,000 to the Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. This fund offers flexible support to local nonprofit organizations actively responding to the fires. As a sincere thank you for their continued service in wildfire-affected areas, verified GOVX First Responders may secure up to (2) two complimentary GA Passes. Available for a limited time, while supplies last.
