In a new interview with New York radio station Q104.3, Richards, who’s famously known for his debaucherous lifestyle over the years, told host Jim Kerr that he’s taken a step towards a healthier lifestyle prior to the band’s upcoming North American tour set for this spring and summer.

“I’ve given up smoking…since October,” Richards admitted. “Done that, been there.” Richards also went on to admit that his only remaining vices are that of playing loud rock and roll music and enjoying an occasional glass of Pinot Grigio.

“I think both Mick and I felt that on the last tour we were just getting going,” Richards also mentioned in regards to their 2019 run of shows across North America. “[W]e’ve got to continue this.”

The Rolling Stones will return to the U.S. and Canada beginning May 8th with a show in San Diego, CA. For more information, head to the band’s website.
