Khruangbin has announced a new slate of tour dates that will take the Thai-funk trio throughout the United States this fall. The tour adds to an increasingly growing tour schedule for the Houston-bred outfit.
The new tour dates pick up on September 22nd with a show at the Belly Up in Aspen, CO. After a month and a half gap—which will see Kbin perform at such festivals as III Points, Outside Lands, and Suwannee Halloween—the band will return to hard-ticket headlining performances on November 6th at Santa Barbara Bowl in Central California. After a show in San Diego at Open Air Theatre (11/7) comes another month-long gap of new shows that will take the band into December.
Tour picks back up on December 1st at Orpheum Theatre in New Orleans, LA (12/1); followed by the Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, IN (12/6); Agora Theatre in Cleveland, OH (12/7); Royal Oak Music Theatre in Detroit, MI (12/10); Express LIVE! in Columbus, OH (12/11); The Pageant in St. Louis, MO (12/14); The Criterion in Oklahoma City, OK (12/16); and The Factory Deep Ellum in Dallas, TX (12/17); before closing with a two-night run at the Tobin Center in San Antonio, TX (12/18, 12/19).
“When it comes to performance, Khruangbin delivers,” guitarist Mark Speer wrote in a statement. “That’s why, during COVID-19, we’ve been working tirelessly to make sure that – when the world was ready – you’d still get the same high quality you expect from the ‘Bin, on-time and on-point.”
