Khruangbin heads into the weekend with the Friday release of their latest album project in the form of a 12-track dub remix of the rock trio’s 2018 Con Todo El Mundo LP.
Titled Hasta El Cielo, the new album’s arrival on Friday via Dead Oceans/Night Time Stories includes a pair of bonus dubs by Jamaican producer Scientist, who Khruangbin’ Laura Lee has credited for inspiring her career as a bassist. The album also includes the previously-shared psychedelia remix of “Maria También”, now titled “Mary Always”.

The lofi rock trio continue their summer 2019 campaign with an appearance at Birmingham, England’s Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival on Friday. The band will return Stateside later this month for their scheduled performance at Chicago’s Pitchfork Festival on July 19th, followed by their own headlining gig at The Republik in Honolulu, HI on July 31st.
