King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Explore The Urban Jungle In New "Yours" Video [Watch]

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have shared a new music video for the Butterfly 3000 track “Yours”. The latest album from the Australian psych-rockers arrived last Friday in a shrouded cloud of mystery.

Originally announced on May 11th just one month ahead of its release date, Butterfly 3000 arrived with no fanfare. The lead-up to the album saw no singles, music videos, artwork, or even tracklists released. Instead, King Gizzard let the mystery of its 18th studio album do all the heavy promotional lifting.

The resulting product thus came as a pleasant surprise as King Gizzard, once again, shifted styles for the new album. In comparison to the heavy Eastern influences of Butterfly 3000‘s companion predecessors, K.G. and L.W., the latest release sees a familiar Western approach steeped in potent keyboard work that flirts with the boundary between cool and campy.
