Kitchen Dwellers and Gipsy Moon have announced a winter tour together that will see both bands visit a number of cities up and down the west coast. The tour will kick off in Bend, OR at The Domino Room on January 24th and extend until February at The Mint in LA. Each show will feature full sets from both bands and is sure to include collaborations between the groups.

Montana-bred bluegrass outfit The Kitchen Dwellers are captivating fans across the country with their high-energy live performances and unique approach to traditional music that fans have dubbed “Galaxy Grass.” The band recently headlined The Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO where they were joined by Leftover Salmon’s Andy Thorne. Watch the band cover John Hartford‘s “Up On The Hill Where They Do The Boogie” with Mr. Thorne on fiddle in the video below:

With soothing harmonies, soul-stirring poetry, and instrumentals that make the hips sway, Gipsy Moon is constantly reinventing their version of indie-folk to include celtic melodies, latin rhythms, jazzy vocals, bluegrass drive, and a gipsy swing that brings acoustic music into an exciting new dimension.
