[UPDATE 3/16/23]: Kitchen Dwellers have a fourth show to their upcoming homecoming run at Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, MT, and it’s a Sunday matinee per the request Oscar-winner Jamie Lee Curtis.
The Bozeman-born jamgrass quartet announced the show with a photo of the actress, writing, “Jamie Lee Curtis asked and we listened! By popular demand we’ve added a fourth night to our Pine Creek Lodge run this summer! Join us for a Sunday Matinee show on June 4th in Paradise Valley.”
The joke is apparently a reference to Curtis’s viral plea for artists to perform earlier so that fans don’t have to stay out all night. “I am gonna just say this now as a taunt and as a suggestion: U2, do a matinee,” she told The Hollywood Reporter on the Film Independent Spirit Awards red carpet. “Coldplay, do a matinee. What about a 12-noon concert, Coldplay? What about it? Bruce Springsteen: do a fucking matinee! You’re old! Kitchen Dwellers, do a matinee!” Okay, she didn’t say the last part, but you get the idea.

3/8/23: Bozeman, MT bluegrass quartet Kitchen Dwellers will return to Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, MT for three nights on June 1st–3rd as part of the band’s upcoming spring tour.
Located just a short drive from the band’s birthplace in Bozeman, where the four members first came together at Montana State University, Pine Creek Lodge has become a second home for Kitchen Dwellers. After historic flooding of Montana’s Yellowstone River ravaged the region and devastated the local tourism-based economy in 2022, they returned as hometown heroes to join fellow Montana resident John Mayer and the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir at the Livingston venue for the Rise For The River disaster relief fundraiser, which raised over $2.5 million.

Kitchen Dwellers have also spearheaded efforts to defend Pine Creek Lodge against the threat of a county parking ordinance that would prohibit parking on all roads surrounding the venue. According to the venue’s website, “This ordinance would prevent us from doing any business at all going forward. No brunch. No dinner. No trivia. And no music.”
Tickets for Kitchen Dwellers’ shows at Pine Creek Lodge are available via an artist presale now through Wednesday, March 8th at 10 p.m. MT with code: DISHPIT. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 10th at 10 a.m. MT via the band’s website.
