The Kokūa Festival ran for six years from 2004–8 and once more in 2010. Over the years the festival hosted a wide variety of musicians, many of whom appear on the live stream lineup, as well as other performers including Dave Matthews BandJackson Browne, and many more. An integral component of Kokūa was always a commitment to environmental sustainability and charity. That is why the Kokūa Live From Home stream will celebrate 50 years of Earth Day and raise money for the Kokūa Hawaii Foundation, a non-profit that supports environmental education in Hawaii schools and communities. A portion of the proceeds will also go to benefit sustainable food programs in Hawaii, including Aloha Harvest, the Full Calabash Fund, and the Chef Hui HI #GiveandGoHI Community Meal Program.

Tune into the Kokūa Festival Live From Home stream on April 25th at 6 p.m. ET via the event’s Facebook page.
