The funk-fusion masters in Kung Fu have mastered the art of blending high-caliber composition with danceable grooves. This year, the band has been hard at work in their funk dojo, practicing their musical martial arts and working on some new original material to deliver to the masses. What has come out of those sessions is a collection of singles in a series dubbed Ninja Cuts. In lieu of releasing a proper album, the band will release random singles via the Ninja Cuts series throughout the remainder of 2017. Ninja Cuts is set to provide fresh, exciting original music to the scene in small but powerful doses, and its tracks are action-packed funk-fusion at its finest.

The first song up is “Sfvendago,” a track written by drummer/percussionist Adrian Tramontano and guitarist Tim Palmieri. The song was recorded at The Boatyard in Cromwell, CT. It was engineered by Matt Zeiner and was mixed by Tim Walsh. The band explained, “The song was written by our drummer Adrian, our guitar player Tim, and arranged together as a band.  The audio and video were recorded live at the same time with the only overdubs being the extra percussion tracks that Adrian recorded. The idea was to capture the essence of what we do live up close and personal for people.”
