What better way to keep grooving after a night of Umphrey’s McGee than with an official after party featuring the livetronica group, Cosby Sweater. Umphrey’s are bringing their jam-rock sound to New York, for a three-night run in January that includes two shows at the historic Beacon Theatre and a final show at The Paramount in Huntington, NY.

On Saturday, January 17th, after Umphrey’s second night at the Beacon, Cosby Sweater will keep the night grooving with an official after-party. The livetronica trio is comprised of David Embry on production and vocals, Nicholas Gerlach on Tenor Saxophone and EWI and Jeff Peterson on drums. The band has hit the road hard since their launch in 2012, sharing the stage with venerated acts like Pretty Lights, Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, The New Deal, Deltron 3030, to name a few.

To make things interesting, Joel Cummins of Umphrey’s will be sitting in with Cosby Sweater… all signs point to a great night of music!

Cosby Sweater consistently drops new original music with tracks that are infectiously danceable, making it impossible not to groove along with the winding, sensual saxophone melodies and ultra-accessible beats. When they aren’t putting out new original music, they are releasing crazy remixes that have that Cosby Sweater touch on them. For more about Cosby Sweater, check out their official site.
