The soulful up-and-comers Lawrence have been on our radar for a while, and we’ve been watching them steadily blow up over the last year or so. We became enchanted by the two siblings, Clyde and Gracie Lawrence, at Bonnaroo, when their bubbly performance inspired Vulfpeck collaborator Antwaun Stanley to hop onto stage and join them for an unplanned vocal jam—earning the group our 2016 Bonnaroo award for “Best Club Stage Band.” Since then, we’ve seen Lawrence gaining a momentum that shows no signs of dissipating. They got signed to Warner Bros. records, have been touring extensively for their debut album Breakfast, and have been supporting artists like Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Jacob Collier, Vulfpeck, and Eric Krasno Band.

Live For Live Music Presents The 2016 Bonnaroo Music Festival Awards

Yesterday, Lawrence released a brand-new music video for their flirty song “Alibi” off Breakfast, the debut album they’ve been heavily promoting since its release last year. The video is an old-school throwback, and we’re all about it. You can check it out for yourself below, and keep an eye out for the group as they continue to build a name for themselves.
