lespecial, the Connecticut-based “heavy future groove” trio, has detailed a lengthy 2021 summer tour.
The tour, which runs from May 29th through October, will feature a mix of socially distant shows, special Primus Frizzle Fry sets, and sets at festivals large and small.
After kicking off in Lake George, NY this Saturday, lespecial will move into June with shows at Ardmore, PA’s Ardmore Music Hall (6/3) and Brooklyn, NY’s The Sultan Room (6/4).
The following week, lespecial will head to Stowe, VT for two nights at The Garden at Stowe Cider (6/11, 6/12) followed by a doubleheader at Portland, ME’s Maine Craft Distilling Sunday Series on Sunday, June 13th.
From there, the trio will head to Colorado for two nights at Denver’s Knew Conscious (6/17, 6/18) and a pair of sets (one original, one Frizzle Fry) at Beanstalk Backyard Bash in Bond (6/24).
The band will head back east in early July for a set at Brunswick, ME’s Summer Jam 2021 (7/3), followed by an appearance at the pod-style 2021 version of The Werk Out in Thornville, OH (7/23), a gig at Navy Pier in Chicago, IL (7/25), a show at The Enchanted Forest in New Albany, IN (7/30), and a performance at Indianapolis, IN’s Hi-Fi (7/31).
The band will kick off the month of August with two nights at Pelham, TN’s The Caverns Above Ground (one original, one Frizzle Fry) supporting Papadosio (8/6, 8/7) before heading back north for a show in Newmarket, NH (8/13) and two nights at The Circus of Life Music Festival in Bethel, NY (8/20, 8/21).
In September, lespecial will perform at Lehighton, PA’s Karnival of the Arts (9/2). The tour admat also features two late-summer shows which have not yet been announced.
Other upcoming lespecial dates include an appearance in early October at Flyday Music Festival in East Durham, NY (102) and a set at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, FL on Thursday, October 28th.
