On December 28th, the funk stars of Lettuce will kick off a four-night run on the East Coast, starting with a lone date at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on the 28th. From there, the band will begin a three-night run to ring in the new year at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl falling across December 29th through 31st. Earlier today, Lettuce announced some changes in its lineup for their upcoming New Year’s Eve run—given that guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff will be “welcoming a brand new addition to the Lettuce family,” the band has tapped the legendary guitarist and frequent collaborator John Scofield to serve as a special guest for all three performances at Brooklyn Bowl in his stead.
