Beloved future-funk sextet Lettuce and foundational British roots reggae outfit Steel Pulse will head out on a 13-date co-headlining tour in the summer of 2023, the two bands announced on Wednesday. The tour will feature additional support from big wave surfer-turned-musician Makua Rothman.
The tour, due to feature full-length sets by both Lettuce and Steel Pulse at each stop, will begin on Thursday, June 15th with a show at Miami Beach, FL’s North Beach Bandshell and continue through Florida with shows in St. Petersburg (6/16), Apopka (6/17), and Ormond Beach (6/18). Next, Steel Pulse and Lettuce will continue through the Southeast for shows in Outer Banks, NC (6/20) and Richmond, VA (6/21) before heading north for shows at Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, MA (6/23) and Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ (6/24). The joint run will go on with shows in Silver Springs, MD (7/1), Charleston, SC (7/3), Asheville, NC (7/6), and Cincinnati, OH (7/7) before closing out at Rose Music Center at The Heights in Huber Heights, OH on Saturday, July 8th.

Both bands also have busy spring 2023 schedules ahead of them before they link up this summer. Steel Pulse has club shows scheduled everywhere from Houston to New Orleans and will head to Hawaii with Common Kings for two nights in early March. Following busy week aboard Jam Cruise 19 earlier this month, Lettuce is prepared to hit the road for a busy month of March featuring a number of national tour dates and festival plays. In April, following an appearance at Backwoods Music Festival, the sextet will head to New Orleans and team up with Tower of Power and the Louisiana Philharmonic for a special performance during Jazz Fest.
