As part of Lettuce‘s upcoming Wavelength Tour in the fall, the funk masters will stop in at Washington, D.C.’s newly opened venue, The Anthem, on Saturday, November 3rd. Today, the band has announced that it will be joined by two very special guests, famed rapper Waka Flocka Flame and young fan-favorite guitarist and vocalist Marcus King, in addition to previously announced supporting act, the Brooklyn-based nine-piece, Turkuaz.

Lettuce’s collaborations with Marcus King and Turkuaz at The Anthem in November are not particularly surprising. The beloved funk act has had a longstanding relationship with both acts, and in 2017, both Marcus King and Turkuaz (among others) were on hand to celebrate the group’s headlining performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Furthermore, while Lettuce hasn’t directly collaborated with Waka Flocka, the group has always been deeply rooted in the hip-hop community, having had numerous high-profile rappers guest with them over the years.
