Levitation will return to Austin, TX over Halloween weekend 2022 with an initial lineup headed by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (two nights), The Jesus And Mary Chain, festival founders The Black Angels, OSEES (four nights), and more. The long-running underground festival will take place October 27th–30th at venues throughout downtown Austin.
Levitation kicks off on Thursday with The Jesus And Mary Chain, OS Mutantes, W.I.T.C.H., Superorganism, Protomartyr, Babe Rainbow, Slift, Automatic, Imarhan, Sugar Candy Mountain, and more, in addition to one of OSEES’ daily performances. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will perform one of their two full shows on Friday in addition to sets from Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Viagra Boys, Shame, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, The Legendary Pink Dots, Desire, Acid Dad, Glüme, Club Intl, Mothermary, and more.
Psychedelic powerhouses King Gizz will also headline Saturday for their second of two shows, topping a daily lineup featuring Shame, Viagra Boys, OFF!, Heartless Bastards, Hunx & His Punx, The Murlocs, Sunflower Bean, She Past Away, Lebanon Hangover, Tropical Fuck Storm, Death Valley Girls, A Giant Dog, Alex Maas, Tempers, BLK JKS, and more.

Finally, Levitation wraps on Sunday with founders The Black Angels alongside L7, Cold Cave, La Femme, Moon Duo Presents The Lightship, Frankie & The Witch Fingers, Soft Kill, Pleasure Venom, Blood Red Shoes, Temple of Angels, and more. All of these acts and more will dot Austin with performances at Stubbs, Mohawk, Empire, Hotel Vegas, Parish, Antone’s, and Scoot Inn.
