Lianne La Havas was the virtual music guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week, where the British singer-songwriter performed “Bittersweet”, one of the featured singles from her recently-released self-titled studio album. For her appearance on the late-night show, La Havas shared pro-shot footage from her recent album release performance at the Roundhouse in her hometown of London earlier this month.

The July 15th performance at the famed London venue took place without any fans in attendance and was live-streamed with multi-camera footage sent out to viewers across the world. La Havas’ stripped performance of the soothing track showcases why she’s one of the premier up-and-coming artists in music today. Accompanied by vocalist Frida Touray, La Havas delivered a calming and mesmerizing rendition of the new song while easing the listener into her creative world with the warm notes of her electric guitar.
