Keller Williams has been rocking it with his newest creation, the quartet known as KWahtro. Backed by Danton Boller, Rodney Holmes, and Gibb Droll, Williams is able to let loose and explore on some of his own classics and some choice covers. The group hit the renowned Higher Ground venue in Burlington, VT last Friday, February 26th, playing an exciting show to a packed house.
Opening with “Freeker By The Speaker,” Williams made time for versions of Grateful Dead’s “Bird Song” and Phish’s “Birds of a Feather” for a little bird-themed medley. “Best Feeling,” his collaborative track with String Cheese Incident, was also on the setlist, as well as many of his original tunes like “Turtle In The Front Row” and “Kiwi And Apricot.”
