Little Feat will hit the road this spring for a tour celebrating the 45th anniversary of its seminal 1978 live album, Waiting For Columbus. The rock band will perform the double LP in its entirety at each stop on the 22-date U.S. tour.
The Waiting For Columbus 45th Anniversary Tour fittingly begins in Columbus, OH on March 4th. The tour continues through the Midwest with stops in Kalamazoo, MI (3/5); Milwaukee, WI (3/7); Des Moines, IA (3/8); Chicago, IL (3/10); St. Louis, MO (3/11); and Nashville, IN (3/13); before returning to Ohio for a show in Cincinnati (3/14).
The band then mounts a two-night run at Nashville, TN’s legendary Ryman Auditorium (3/16, 3/17), before moving through the South with stops in Knoxville, TN (3/19); Birmingham, AL (3/20); Atlanta, GA (3/22); Mobile, AL (3/23); New Orleans, LA (3/25); Houston, TX (3/26); and Dallas, TX (3/27). Little Feat then heads back up north to Akron, OH (4/9); Rochester, NY (4/10); Richmond, VA (4/19); Virginia Beach, VA (4/20); and finally Durham, NC (4/21). The tour will feature opening support from Ida Mae, Amy Helm, and Raye Zaragoza at various stops.

The band currently consists of longtime members keyboardist Bill Payne, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton, and guitarist Fred Tackett alongside newly-added drummer Tony Leone and guitarist Scott Sharrard, the latter of whom joined following the death of Paul Barrere in 2019.
