Today, LOCKN’ filled in the remaining spaces on their ever-growing 2018 schedule following a week of exciting artist-by-artist announcements. The newest additions to the lineup include Butcher Brown, Erin & The Wildfire, and a Jerry Dance Party on Thursday evening, August 23rd; Band of Changes and Caitlyn Smith on Friday afternoon, August 24th; BIG Something, Agents of Good Roots, Southern Avenue, and People’s Blues of Richmond on Saturday, August 25th; and Matisyahu on Sunday, August 26th. The updated schedule also has Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real‘s set moved from Saturday to Friday.

This new slate of additions joins previously-announced artists Dead & Company (four sets over two days), Umphrey’s McGee (three sets over two days), Tedeschi Trucks Band (two sets over two days), Widespread Panic, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (two sets over two days) Sheryl Crow, Turkuaz, Lettuce (three sets over two days, including a tribute to Jerry Garcia Band), Foundation of Funk: Celebrating 50 Years Of The Meters, George Clinton & P-Funk, Toots & The Maytals, Blues Traveler, Moon Taxi, Spafford, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Suffers, and Ghost Light.

Notably, this LOCKN’ lineup is the first edition since the festival’s inception in 2013 to not include any performances from founding Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh. Phil has a run of duo dates with Bob Weir scheduled in March, and Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band are scheduled to play various other large-scale events in 2018, such as The Peach Music Festival and Wanee Festival. However, LOCKN’ has been known to throw surprises at their fans in the past, and considering the close relationship between Lesh, festival organizer Peter Shapiro and, of course, the original Grateful Dead members in Dead & Company, it may be too early to count out the possibility of an appearance.

LOCKN’ returns to Infinity Downs Farm from August 23rd through 26th. Tickets for the festival will go on sale at noon (EST) tomorrow, Friday, February 9th. For more information about LOCKN’, or to grab your tickets when they go on sale, head over to the event’s website here.
