Lotus has announced the 15th anniversary edition of its annual festival, Summerdance, set to take place at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, OH from September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2023.

In addition to nightly headlining performances by Lotus, Summerdance 2023 will feature sets by Too Many Zooz, Dogs In A Pile, and Space Bacon. The festival will also present performance includes by the Lotus band members’ various side projects including Luke Miller‘s Luke The Knife and Sugar Nova, Jesse Miller‘s Beard-o-Bees, a DJ Greenfield‘s Dance Party set led by Mike Greenfield, and a Tim Palmieri solo set. Rounding out the lineup are Atlanta live electronica outfit Hive Mind and Rohan Solo, the producer/drummer side project of Hive Mind’s Rohan Prakash.

The last several editions of Summerdance have been particularly significant for the long-running live electronic jam band. In 2021, the festival marked founding guitarist Michael Rempel‘s final show with Lotus before leaving its ranks to pursue a new career path in “personal coaching, authentic relating groups, guided meditations, and mindfulness education.” The 2022 edition of Summerdance served as a welcoming party of sorts for new guitarist Tim Palmieri, who took up the mantle following Rempel’s departure. This year, the band and its fans will continue to mourn together as they mark the first edition of Summerdance since the tragic passing of percussionist Chuck Morris and his son, Charley Morris, earlier this year.

Three-day tickets for Summerdance 2023, priced at $150 per person while supplies last, are now available here.
