On June 29th, 1979 the music world lost Little Feat guitarist Lowell George at the tender age of 34 to a heart attack. George was not only a founding member of the famous rock band, but also worked with an incredible array of musicians ranging from Frank Zappa, The Meters, Harry Nilsson, and more.
While George’s life was tragically cut short when he died while on tour in support of Thanks I’ll Eat it Here, his influence was far-reaching in his peak career years. His work with Little Feat was unparalleled, which featured his trademark electric slide abilities like no one else.
