North Carolina-based Americana/folk duo Mandolin Orange recently stopped by NPR to perform a few songs for the media outlet’s Tiny Desk Concert series. The band—comprised of Emily Frantz (guitar/fiddle) and Andrew Marlin (guitar/mandolin)—offered up a three-song performance.

Mandolin Orange opened up their Tiny Desk Concert with “Golden Embers”, the lead track off of their recently released Tides Of A Teardrop LP. The duo moved forward with another newer tune “The Wolves” before closing things out with “Wildfire”, off of their 2016 album, Blindfaller.

As NPR’s Bob Boilen explains,

Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz made everything seem so easy, pulling a few acoustic instruments out of their car and, in no time, huddling around a single microphone behind the Tiny Desk. With that, Mandolin Orange was ready.
