Marco Benevento has added a number of 2019 west coast tour dates in support of his forthcoming studio album, Let It Slide, due out on September 20th via Royal Potato Family.
The pianist and his band—comprised of bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Andy Borger—will begin their late-fall leg with a performance at San Diego, CA’s Casbah on December 5th, followed by stops at Los Angeles, CA’s Teragram Ballroom (12/6); San Francisco’s The Independent (12/7); Felton, CA’s Felton Music Hall (12/8); Mill Valley, CA’s Sweetwater Music Hall (12/9); Arcata, CA’s Humboldt Brews (12/10); Eugene, OR’s WildCraft Cider Works (12/11); Bend, OR’s Volcanic Theatre Pub (12/12); Portland, OR’s Doug Fir Lounge (12/13); and Seattle, WA’s The Crocodile on December 14th.
Produced by Leon Michaels, Benevento’s forthcoming album will be the keyboardist’s first release since his 2017 Woodstock Sessions live album. The 13-track project was recorded at Diamond Mine Studios in Queens, NY in addition to Benevento’s Fred Short Studio. In addition to adding a number of fall tour dates, Benevento has shared a new music video for his previously released “Say It’s All The Same” track, which premiered exclusively via Flood Magazine.
