Marco Benevento rolled into New York’s Brooklyn Bowl this past weekend for a post-Thanksgiving throwdown on Saturday night. The stop came amid a moderately stacked November and December tour schedule for the Joe Russo’s Almost Dead keyboardist.

Coming off a three-night run at The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH on November 11th–13th, Benevento and his jam compadres, Karina Rykman (bass) and Dave Butler (drums), arrived fresh and ready to go. The three-piece jam-rock outfit recently released its first studio output since 2019’s Let It Slide, dropping a new single, “At The End Or The Beginning“, back on October 27th. In a press release that came alongside the track, Benevento noted that he is “putting the finishing touches” on an LP set for 2022.

Coming up on his December schedule is a stop at North Beach Music Festival in Miami, FL. This December 11th performance will see Benevento perform a solo set and take part in the Spafford & Friends set alongside Eric Krasno (Soulive), Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Alric “A.C.” Carter (TAUK), and more. From there, Benevento will head to The Capitol Theatre on December 17th where he will perform with Jackson Browne, Jorma Kaukonen, and others for The Capitol Sessions: Songs from a Rock Palace That Impacted the World. Head to his website for tickets and additional tour information.
