Marco Benevento staged a three-night run with his solo act at Portsmouth, NH’s The Press Room over the weekend. The concerts came as the Joe Russo’s Almost Dead keyboardist ramps up touring in anticipation of new studio material.
The three-night affair saw the eccentric pianist flanked, as always, by his bandmates Karina Rykman (bass) and Dave Butler (drums). The trio recently celebrated the release of its first new single since 2019, “At The End Or The Beginning“. Though Marco hasn’t officially announced a new album, he did note in a press release that he is “putting the finishing touches” on a new LP to come in 2022.
