Keyboardist Marco Benevento has released the music video for “Nature’s Change”, the 11th song from his new album, 2019’s Let It Slide.

This marks the fourth music video in support of the Joe Russo’s Almost Dead keyboard player’s eighth solo album, which was produced by Leon Michels (The Arcs). The video was shot by Benevento using VHS cameras, serving as yet another homage from the eccentric musician to the 1980s and vintage nostalgia.  After filming, the footage was then handed off to Benevento’s longtime friend Jon Wood (Psycho Killers) who added animation effects, including shooting lasers out of Benevento’s eyes and giving the video a “psychedelic warble”, according to Wood.

Released this past September, Let It Slide is the latest in an illustrious solo career for Benevento, which has spanned over a decade and existed concurrently with his collaborations with Joe Russo, Mike Gordon, and many more. While this latest studio effort contains much of Benevento’s trademark industrial pop-jams, it also includes a departure into a grittier, soulful edge that Benevento describes as, “hot dance piano rock.”

Benevento and his band, which includes bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Dave Butler, just wrapped up a successful tour of the Northeast and Midwest, and will reconvene in December for a 10-date run along the west coast.
