Today, The Marcus King Band has announced some big news: The South Carolina-native outfit will make their debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next Wednesday, February 13th. The high-profile appearance marks the young band’s second-ever late-night TV performance following their spot on CONAN last summer.

The Marcus King Band’s The Late Show performance—to be filmed at the show’s iconic Ed Sullivan Theater, where The Beatles first touched down in the U.S. back in 1964—is the latest step in Marcus King and company’s gradual global takeover. It comes as the band continues to tour in support of their 2018 album, Carolina Confessions. And with house band Jon Batiste and Stay Human also on hand, we’re hopeful for a very special performance that shows mainstream audiences around the country what we’ve known for years: The Marcus King Band is the realest of deals. Set those DVRs!

Following their appearance on The Late Show, The Marcus King Band will head out for a run of March dates in the northeast and Florida before making their way across the globe for stretches of shows in Asia and Australia in April.
