End Of The Line — A Tribute To The Allman Brothers Band traveled to Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Thursday for a set of Macon, GA blues which featured guest appearances by Marcus King and pianist Peter Levin.

The ticketed concert was streamed live via The Relix Channel on Twitch, with those tuning in greeted to the pleasant surprise of King and Levin onstage as the show began. The raucous opening “Whipping Post” provided a blank musical slate for the blues guitarist to explore, joining in the chorus of six strings alongside Conor Kelly and Adam Gorman. The band—which also features keyboardist/vocalist Justin Smith, bassist Casey Conway, percussionist Ryan McClanahan, and drummer Chase Bader—took its time with a 15-minute “Whipping Post” before the dual keyboards of Smith and Levin took the reins for “Please Call Home”.

After bidding farewell to King, End Of The Line forged ahead with “No One To Run With” which along the way evolved into “Not Fade Away”. The musical evolution never ceased, however, as “Not Fade Away” took a brief foray into Jimi Hendrix‘s “Third Stone From The Sun” before a reprisal of “No One To Run With” finished out the opening stanza of the show.

Watch Marcus King and Peter Levin sit in with End Of The Line in Nashville for “Whipping Post” and “Please Call Home”.
