On September 4th, talented young guitarist/vocalist Marcus King made his debut appearance at the famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. On Thursday, the venue shared the pro-shot video highlighting King and his band’s performance of “Goodbye Carolina”, one of the original tunes from The Marcus King Band‘s latest album, 2018’s Carolina Confessions.

The video shows a well-dressed King with a fine beige-colored cowboy hat and his trademark red Gibson Memphis 1964 ES-345TD guitar. As per his usual performances of the southern rock power ballad, King opened the tune by himself before the backing band eventually joined in towards the start of the first chorus.
