The Marcus King Band has expanded their extensive El Dorado tour with a fresh bactch of 2020 dates in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
The tour comes in support of frontman Marcus King‘s forthcoming debut solo album, El Dorado, due out on January 17th, 2020 via Fantasy Records. The new album, produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, was recorded at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, TN with some of the best writers and studio musicians the Music City has to offer.
MKB’s newly announced leg of their El Dorado tour begins with a performance at Tempe, AZ’s Marquee Theatre on January 26th and ends with a show at Auckland, New Zealand’s Powerstation on April 16th. The tour will also see the band makes stops throughout North America at Solana Beach, CA’s Belly Up (1/27); Las Vegas, NV’s Brooklyn Bowl (1/30); Los Angeles, CA’s Fonda Theatre (1/31); San Francisco’s The Fillmore (2/4); Portland, OR’s Crystal Ballroom (2/8); Boulder, CO’s Boulder Theater (2/14); and Denver, CO’s Ogden Theatre (2/15).
Following The Marcus King Band’s Denver performance, the band will head across the pond beginning with a show at The Wardrobe in Leeds, U.K. MKB will continue on throughout February and March with performances in the U.K., Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark.
The Marcus King Band’s extensive tour will end with four concerts in Australia and New Zealand in April, including a performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest.
A pre-sale for the newly announced North America and Europe dates begins this Wednesday, November 6th, with all dates on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov 8th. Australian dates are now on sale.
