Margo Price was the featured musical performer and interview subject on CBS This Morning over the weekend. The Americana guitarist and singer was on the Saturday morning news program to promote her forthcoming studio album, That’s How Rumors Get Started, due out next month.
For her appearance, Price shared a trio of pre-recorded, at-home performances of new originals “Drifter” and “Letting Me Down”, in addition to a cover of Bob Dylan‘s “Things Have Changed”.
Accompanied by the members of her backing band who each provided their parts of the performances from their respective homes, Price sported an all-red look for her debut of “Drifter” along with the previously-released “Letting Me Down” on the front porch of her home.

The show also aired its virtual interview segment with Price, who talked about how her husband and guitar player’s diagnosis with COVID-19 while raising two young kids forced her to delay the release of her forthcoming album–a move which shows she appears to be taking life in stride one day at a time alongside the rest of us.
