Mark Lettieri, the guitarist, song arranger, and composer for Grammy-winning jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy will bring his talents to Los Angeles next month for a headlining performance in the Library Bar at historic The Mayfair Hotel on Thursday, March 5th.

The veteran guitarist from Fort Worth, TX, whose skills and experience covers practically any and every kind of musical style, continues to promote the recent release of his fifth solo album, 2019’s Things of That Nature. The album was one of three released last year in which Lettieri’s world-class playing is featured, including Snarky Puppy’s Immigrance in March, followed by the self-titled The Fearless Flyers II in May as part of The Fearless Flyers–the Vulfpeck spinoff with Cory Wong, Joe Dart, and Nate Smith.

The upcoming March 5th performance will hear Lettieri pull material from his wide catalog of songs, in addition to dance-friendly music coming out of the turntables courtesy of DJ Glenn Red.

Opened in 1926 when it was then the tallest building in America west of the Mississippi River, The Mayfair Hotel located near downtown Los Angeles underwent extensive renovations in 2018, and has since reopened for business and live events which include upcoming weekly performances from artists across all genres.

The Mayfair Hotel’s updated design has provided the entire property with the sparks needed to inspire today’s creatives while paying homage to its “Roaring Twenties” roots with a brand new electric vibe that blurs the lines between art and experience. Other updates to the hotel’s interior design as part of the recent renovations include its exposed brick ballroom, a newly constructed podcast studio, an intimate writer’s room, and an art gallery showcasing curated works that are available for purchase.

The hotel’s role within the Los Angeles entertainment scene even goes all the way back to when it welcomed guests to the first-ever Academy Awards after-party.

Tickets to the March 5th event are free with an RSVP here. Fans can also RSVP to the official Facebook event to stay up to date on event updates leading up to next month’s show.
