Mary Corso, the soulful vocalist known for her work with the Eric Krasno Band, spent her time in quarantine catching up on some personal creative goals. The result of her efforts is “Catching Up”, Corso’s first-ever original song as a solo artist. Both the track and the video for “Catching Up” arrive today exclusively via Live For Live Music.

“Catching Up”, a breezy R&B jam laced with lush harmonies and a relatable message of personal growth, serves as an earnest reflection for an artist who has spent years as a utility player with a variety of bands. While she has performed with the likes of Phil LeshAllen StoneMarcus KingDoyle Bramhall IIGeorge Porter Jr., and more, Mary has never pursued her own creative path.

As Corso explains, “My song ‘Catching Up’ tells the story of somebody who feels like they are falling behind in their personal life goals. In the music video, you will see me waking up in the ocean which represents my life being out of control, and the struggle of wasting time on the wrong things. I hope this song resonates with people as everyone is starting to come out of quarantine back into society after a difficult year.”
