Some New York City jazz fanatics will remember when .Paak was on hand to sit in with Robert Glasper during the Grammy-winning pianist’s month-long residency at the Blue Note in fall 2018. Brown is no stranger to playing with .Paak, as the trumpeter has been part of his touring band for the last year.

“The Mobetta birthday vibe sessions will be a celebration of life, love and unity,” Brown mentioned about is upcoming birthday run in a statement shared via press release. “The goal is to have some of my closest friends get together and play off of each other to create something greater than ourselves.”

Tickets for the six guest-filled birthday performances are on sale now via the Blue Note website.
