Metallica has shared pro-shot concert video highlighting their performance of “For Whom The Bell Tolls” alongside the San Francisco Symphony which will appear on the band’s forthcoming S&M2 live album and concert film, due out next week on August 28th.

The video showcases the quartet’s hard-hitting rendition of the thrash metal anthem which first appeared on their 1984 Ride the Lightning studio album. The audience inside San Francisco’s Chase Center erupts into a frenzy when the drummer Lars Ulrich and bassist Robert Trujillo start into the song’s adrenaline-pumping intro while backed by the full orchestra. The video’s four-way split-screen editing style gives fans a glimpse of each of the band members (and orchestra) at the same time, making for an excellent viewing experience rather than the quick cutaways typically used on concert films.
