On Wednesday, Connecticut-native synth-pop group MGMT released a new music video for their song, “In The Afternoon”, which they debuted live last month at their Palms Pearl Theater show in Las Vegas.

Retro and technicolor themes are woven throughout the self-directed video, pairing nicely with the psychedelic pop sound the song emits. You can watch the new video for MGMT’s “In The Afternoon” below:

Along with the video, the band—led by multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser—also announced the release of a 12-inch single that fans can pre-order now through MGMT’s online store. The B-side of the vinyl features yet another new song, “As You Move Through The World”, and marks the first release from the band’s own independent label, MGMT Records.

Additionally, MGMT recently added two bookend dates to their 2020 tour of Mexico next March. The tour will now begin in Puebla, Mexico at Auditorio GNP (3/17) and end in Guadalajara at Auditorio Telmex (3/23)—with tweener dates in Mexico City (3/19 with Tame Impala) and Monterrey (3/21). Massachusetts native Clairo will open up for both MGMT’s headlining sets.

Fans can purchase tickets for these shows tomorrow, Friday, December 13th, at 11:00 a.m. local time here.
