Midnight North will hit the road for a 12-date summer tour beginning early next month on July 4th with an Independence Day performance in Davis, CA.

The tour is scheduled to continue throughout July and August, with headlining shows mixed in with previously announced appearances at music events including California’s High Sierra Music Festival, Oregon’s Country Fair, Virgina’s LOCKNand New York’s Adirondack Independence Festival, to name a few. Some of the headlining performances along the tour will include scheduled gigs at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ (7/18) and Rockwood Music Hall in New York, NY (7/19). The band didn’t reveal which act(s) would be joining them on the summer run to go with Thursday’s announcement.

Earlier this year, the band shared their impressive video submission for the 2019 NPR Tiny Desk contest, which saw and heard the group perform one of their originals, “Long View”, in hopes of landing a featured gig on the popular online-based performance series. “Long View” was written by Midnight North singer/guitarist Graham Lesh alongside his famous father, former Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, and will be featured on the band’s forthcoming album.

The band had spent the earlier part of 2019 on tour with The Infamous Stringdusters.
