An all-star cast of musicians will gather at New York’s historic Beacon Theatre on December 8th to celebrate the life and legacy of Gregg Allman with The Midnight Rider: Gregg Allman’s 75th Birthday Jam.

Taking place on what would have been Gregg Allman’s 75h birthday at one of his favorite venues, the event will feature a diverse range of artists paying tribute to the Allman Brothers Band singer including four-time Academy of Country Music Award-winners Old Dominion, Grammy-winning country duo Brothers Osborne, Grammy-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE, seven-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter (and Lady A co-founder) Charles Kelley, Americana Music Award winner Shakey Graves, acclaimed soul singer-songwriter and bassist Shaun Munday, British singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas, and fast-rising country artist Jackson Dean. Additional special guests are still to be announced.

Pre-sale tickets for The Midnight Rider: Gregg Allman’s 75th Birthday Jam will be available via Ticketmaster beginning on Wednesday, October 12th at noon ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 14th at noon ET.

Born December 8, 1947 in Nashville, TN, Gregg Allman is remembered both as the longtime frontman of Allman Brothers Band and for his storied solo career. Carrying the mantle of the American blues tradition, he penned such classic songs as “Midnight Rider”, “It’s Not My Cross To Bear”, “Dreams”, and “Whipping Post”. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with ABB in 1995 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in 2012. Allman Allman wrote about his life and career, including his struggles with loss and addiction, in his 2012 New York Times best-selling memoir, My Cross To Bear.
