Mihali headed up the coast for a two-night run of beachfront concerts at Bernie’s Beach Bar and Ocean Mist in Hampton Beach, NH, and Wakefield, RI on Friday and Saturday respectively. The Twiddle frontman explored his solo catalog as well as the band’s songbook and even welcomed a special guest.

Friday’s setlist was highlighted by Twiddle’s famous “Glycerine” movement which strings the ’90s chart-topper together with Bob Marley‘s “No Woman, No Cry”, Old Crow Medicine Show‘s “Wagon Wheel”, Phish‘s “Farmhouse”, Matisyahu‘s “One Day”, and finally a “Glycerine” reprise to end the melody. The show at Bernie’s on Friday also saw a guest appearance from Vermont’s own Grubby Bean, who sat in on bass for a cover of “All Along The Watchtower”.

Traveling further on down the coast, Mihali performed at Ocean Mist in Rhode Island on Saturday. The two-night weekend run contained no repeats, as Mihali further mined his expansive catalog with his own originals in addition to Twiddle compositions, including a “Hattie’s Jam” that rolled through “Hurt” and “Wirip”. The weekend jaunt came to a close on Saturday with a cover of Grateful Dead‘s “Eyes Of The World”.
