Phish bassist Mike Gordon began his solo tour last night at the Music Hall of Charleston in, yes, you guessed it….Charleston, South Carolina. On this tour, Gordon will be joined by old-time bandmates guitarist Scott Murawski and percussionist Craig Myers, but is bringing along some newcomers in drummer John Kimock (son of Steve) and keyboardist/organist Robert Walter. The setlist for last night’s show included some new material with “Here Today” and “How Many People Are You”, as well as some covers in Robert Palmer’s “Looking for Clues” and Here We Go Magic’s “How Do I Know?”, as well as some older fare “Dig Further Down” and “Yarmouth Road.” “Spock’s Brain” was also played and always a welcomed addition to any set.
