Miley Cyrus was a featured interview guest on the British radio program Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp earlier this week, where the pop singer revealed she’s been working on a Metallica covers album alongside some pretty famous names.

According to reports, Cyrus loosely detailed the unannounced project during her appearance on the radio show in saying, “I did a Metallica cover of ‘Nothing Else Matters’ featuring Elton John on piano. I’ve got Yo-Yo Ma, Chad Smith, so many all-stars. I’m so excited about this collaboration. I’m really stoked. I love when ingredients don’t quite fit.” The report goes on to detail that the project is being produced by Andrew Watt, who also produced Ozzy Osbourne‘s 2020 studio album Ordinary Man.

Cyrus has shown a strong interest in performing classic rock covers in recent years. The former child star covered Pink Floyd‘s “Wish You Were Here” during her appearance on Saturday Night Live (at Home) last April, and covers Blondie‘s 1979 new wave/disco hit “Heart of Glass” on her latest album, 2020’s Plastic Hearts.
