moe. will stay out on the road a little longer than previously expected with a 14-show extension of the band’s 2023 East Coast winter tour. Now set to run into early spring, the new shows focus on the Southeast with a number of dates in Florida and a tour-closing two-night run in Atlanta.

Following the band’s previously announced two-night engagement at the Palace Theater on February 24th (moe. Day) and 25th, the band will take a couple weeks off before resurfacing at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville on March 9th. Making its way south with stops in Huntsville, AL (3/10) and Memphis, TN (3/11), moe. will soak up the sun with coastal concerts in Charleston, SC (3/15) and a run of Florida concerts in Pensacola (3/12), Orlando (3/16), Ft. Lauderdale (3/17), St. Petersberg (3/18), and Ponte Vedra Beach (3/19).

Returning north, moe. will wrap up its 2023 winter/spring tour with shows in Raleigh, NC (3/21), Charlottesville, VA (3/22), and Asheville, NC (3/23) before closing out with two nights at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta (3/24–25).

This flurry of tour announcements comes after moe. revealed that founding guitarist Chuck Garvey will join the band as a special guest for a portion of the evening on New Year’s Eve. The band’s concert at The Fillmore in Philadelphia will mark Garvey’s first live appearance since suffering a stroke last November. The Fillmore also holds added significance as moe.’s 2021 Halloween show there was Garvey’s last live appearance with the band.

“Thank you for your well-wishes and your donations, without which my recovery would not have happened,” Garvey said in a note to fans. “This year has been a really long, difficult one for me, but a rewarding one, in that I learned what a person needs to do to achieve goals. Some are basic, everyday things like speech, and some are more about universal things that I noticed about family, friends, and community that keep us all afloat.”

moe. has not yet made an announcement regarding Garvey’s permanent return to the band. In his absence, the band’s lineup is bolstered by guitarist Michael “Suke” Cerulo and keyboardist Nate Wilson.
