UPDATE [7/29/20]: This weekend’s moe. drive-in shows at Vernon Downs have been canceled. According to the announcement on the band’s social media pages, Vernon Downs informed them on Wednesday that they would no longer host the shows, billed as “moe.’s Miracle Mile”, originally scheduled to take place this Friday and Saturday, July 31st and August 1st. Due to the short notice, the performances have been canceled. As the band notes, “We are heartbroken and cannot convey how saddened we are for the inconveniences this has caused our fans. We wish for nothing more than to play live for you.”
According to an official statement from the band via email, “Due to circumstances beyond our control Vernon Downs has breached our contract and forced us to cancel this weekends shows. We’re devastated by this turn of events and are still committed to bringing safe socially distanced events to upstate and central NY. We apologize for this huge inconvenience and such a short cancellation notice. We were blindsided by this information and left with no other choice. Ticketmaster has been instructed to refund all tickets in full. Thank you for being so supportive of our efforts hopefully we can find a new venue in the near future that will honor they’re promises and commitment.”
In place of the drive-in shows, moe. will play a pair of full livestream concerts from a historic church-turned-recording studio on Friday and Saturday night. You can purchase your pay-per-view webcasts via TourGigs.

[Originally published 7/11/20]: moe. has become the latest band to schedule a drive-in concert amid the coronavirus pandemic which has forced the closure of nearly all music venues across the country. The quintet will head to Vernon Downs in Vernon, NY on July 31st and August 1st, for a pair of drive-in shows billed as “moe.’s Miracle Mile.”
moe. follows in the footsteps of musicians like Magic Beans, Aqueous, Marc Rebilet, Spafford, and more, who have all performed drive-in-style concerts this summer. Each car at Vernon Downs will receive its own 20 x 20 parking space while the venue and organizers ensure all CDC and New York guidelines are followed. The venue will determine stage proximity based on the ticket tier purchased, with prices ranging from $150-$260. Patrons will be able to listen to the show via the normal festival-style sound system as well as an FM radio. Furthermore, the stage will have video screens for easier viewing.
In addition to on-site vendors serving food and beverages on golf carts, ticketholders are able to bring their own food and alcoholic drinks (21+ only). The venue will open at 4:30 p.m. ET with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m. Guests must wear masks in all common areas, such as when using the restroom.
