Founded in 2014 by bandleader Drew Holcomb, Moon River Music Festival moved to Chattanooga, TN after outgrowing its former home at Memphis’s famous Levitt Shell. This year, they will partner with Friends of Outdoor Chattanooga and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with a portion of each ticket donated to both organizations.
Additional performances will include sets from Zach Bryan, Lucius, Mat Kearney, Briston Maroney, JP Saxe, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Hiss Golden Messenger, Wild Rivers, Natalie Hemby, Wilderado, Maggie Rose, Abraham Alexander, Daniel Nunnelee, and Madeline Edwards.
The latest album from festival founder Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, Dragons, debuted at number one on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Album chart and earned the ensemble television appearances on CBS Saturday Morning and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In addition to the Coolidge Park lineup on Saturday and Sunday, Moon River Music Festival will offer Friday and Saturday night shows at The Signal, including performances by Futurebirds and The Wild Feathers on Friday and a late-night set from Valley and Moody Joody on Saturday.
