Mountain Jam returns for its ninth year on June 6th-9th. Hunter Mountain, NY is bound to be overtaken by amazing vibes as Phil Lesh and Friends, Widespread Panic, Primus, Gov’t Mule, The Avett Brothers and Dispatch headline the festival. Additionally announced acts include Gary Clark Jr., Soulive with Shady Horns, Deer Tick, Jackie Greene, Rubblebucket, ALO, Amy Helm, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, The Revivalists, David Wax Museum and SIMO.
The festival, located about 2 hours north of New York City, is promising a better then ever Mountain Jam. Car side camping is available at a limited number this year, and in compensation for an earlier close on Monday night, the festival has promised a big opener and great headlining set on Thursday. Premium camping is an option as well, in which pre-pitched campsites and camping gear are available. For those of you who do not want to camp, the festival is providing shuttles between the festival site and hotels in the area. A local “Food Truck Village” will also be a highlight of the festival, providing fresh and local food from various upstate New York farms. Catch shows from the ski lifts, take naps in the hammock grove, and listen for “Fire On The Mountain” covers as the 9th annual Mountain Jam rages on this summer.
Pre-Sale tickets for the 9th annual Mountain Jam are already sold out, but Early Bird tickets go on sale on January 19th, 2013, so be sure to get order them at www.mountainjam.com. Payment plans are also an option.
