Mumford and Sons have just announced a secret show at (le) poisson rouge tomorrow, Monday April 6th, with tickets going on sale tomorrow at 9 AM. According to an announcement sent to their mailing list, the band has been playing intimate shows like this across the country, in order to test out new material live.

(le) poisson rouge holds only 700 people, so tomorrow’s 9 AM ticket on-sale is sure to be hotly contested.

The band’s forthcoming album Wilder Mind, which features the band playing electric instruments for the first time, is due out on May 4th.

Here’s the message about the show:

Over the past few weeks, Mumford & Sons have been playing intimate shows in various cities around the world in order to test out the new material live. We’re pleased to reveal that tomorrow night, Monday 6th April, they’ll play a show in the one and only New York City, at Le Poisson Rouge. Tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow.

Unfortunately not everyone will be successful in getting tickets as it’s such a small venue, but we wanted to let you on the official mailing list know exclusively rather than making a public announcement.

Tickets and more information can be found here.
